Solar Panel with a New Technology

Steve Novack of Idaho National Laboratories has made a major advancement in the field of solar system. He has been successful in developing a new technology for solar panels which is less expensive. This solar panel is having a feature of folding, that is, it is a foldable solar panel. The efficiency of this solar panel is far better than other solar panels. This advanced foldable solar panel work by utilizing the nano technology and print the material’s surface using tiny nano antennae. These tiny nano antennae work by capturing the infrared radiations which are part of the solar radiations. Although these infrared radiations were also used by the traditional silicon solar cells used in the solar panels, but these advanced nano antennae are capable of harnessing more energy by the radiations as compared to the traditional cells.
